Teleantioquía
Teleantioquia is a regional public channel, located in the department of Antioquia, in the northwestern region of Colombia. It was the first regional channel that exited in Colombia. According to IBOPE Colombia, among the regional channels Teleantioquia is the most viewed in the country. In the Colombian channel ranking built from the General Media Survey, the channel ranks fifth, only surpassed by three private channels of open television (RCN, Caracol and City TV) and Canal Uno.
The channel audience is not only concentrated in the department of Antioquia, 39% is registered in other cities of the country, according to the measurements of the General Media Survey.
In 1984, the National Decree 3100 that authorized the creation of the channels and regional television networks and the Decree 3101, which authorized INRAVISIÓN to enter into a partnership agreement with the Departmental Companies of Antioquia – EDA- to establish a regional channel in Antioquia.
